Derek Wade Wilson is the designer behind Bonobo Creative (or BC for short), showcasing commercial and non-commercial work. His career expands over fourteen years.
I collaborate closely with creative teams, copywriters, client team managers, art directors and stakeholders on an exciting range of high-profile design projects for global commercial brands such as Adobe, AIIB, Barclays, Chevrolet, GSK, Hyundai, Logitech, Microsoft, Nestlé, Ocrolus Samsung, Sky, Unity, Vanquis, Vodafone, Visa, Vuse, Westfield, Zipcar and many more. For B2B and B2C in digital and print space.

My skill-set is fully integrated and specialist in: UI/UX design / digital and graphic design / Branding / Iconography / Infographics / Gif animations / Social production content / Out-of-home ads (inc DOOH) / Email design & dev – (BeePro, Stripo, Hubspot, Mailchimp) Web design & dev– (WordPress, Bricks, Squarespace, Shopify and Webflow).
I use industry-standard software for digital and graphic design: Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate, Acrobat, Adobe XD and Figma.

My strength lies in focusing on UI/UX design and visually optimising for a human-centred, engaging and empathic user experience. To ensure the brand design is applied coherently through design systems and is futureproof.

A competent, highly efficient and technical designer with a keen interest in designing for future generations and has an inner love for Cyberpunk with its vibrant bold colours and exciting visual treatments. You can see some of these design influences or visual cues in his work.
More importantly, his focus is to translate complex ideas or concepts that are bold with applied strategic thinking for human-centred design in mind.

Before becoming a full-time graphic designer, I also studied traditional illustration that eventually ventured into digital vector art or utilising Photoshop. Today, I incorporate illustrations and icon assets for projects, producing exciting bespoke visuals that bring concepts to life that tell a unique brand story and also depict complex copywriting into simplified iconography.
