The next generation of electric zero emissions

Collaborating with design agency Collective, I was assigned to their client Hyundai to focus on EV/Hybrid 2019/20 models and to work on the UI and UX design for their main consumer landing page. This included customising layout designs, adding new featured sections, and improving some micro-interactions for the overall user journey.

Challenge

Working with Collective London, I was tasked with UI design for Hybrid & Electric landing pages. Provided with the necessary brand materials and assets, I readapted the landing page designs from Photoshop into Sketch visualising for both desktop and mobile environments. Creative work also involved photo retouching brand photography for hero and divider sections, updating graphic assets such as iconography and page design, and section grid changes to improve the UX for this particular section of the website.

Outcome

The end result was a simplified landing page with a bolder visual hierarchy. This included split options for choosing either Hybrid or Electric vehicles. Until now the layout is still utilised for the main electric/hybrid vehicles landing page and the functionality gives users a choice of preference without overwhelming their online experience. Beyond their choice of preference, it proceeded further into a more in-depth user experience for each model in that electric/hybrid category. See the latest website here
