もっとください
‘Motto kudasai’

Mori is derived from the Japanese phrase ‘Motto kudasai’ もっとください, which means 'more please.' This phrase is commonly used when the food is incredibly delicious and you want more.

Mori is a lively eatery in London that draws inspiration from Japanese cuisine. Here, you can purchase healthy, freshly made, and generous portions of contemporary Japanese food to take away.

Challenge

Our goal is to establish a lively Japanese restaurant concept that serves all types of busy individuals and demographics. We aim to provide a convenient lunchtime meal for people on-the-go, including local businesses and commuters. Our vision is to create a distinct departure from the conventional Japanese takeout, and provide an experience that transports our customers to the vibrant streets of Tokyo.

Outcome

The brand draws inspiration from the lively cultural aesthetics of Tokyo, specifically from Japanese anime and the stylish design of neon signage. The brand's iconography is created with minimal line art, and bilingual copywriting is used to provide customers with a more authentic, enjoyable, and engaging experience. As a result, the brand is both fun and aesthetically pleasing while also being educational.
